The paintings on this website are all by Hugh Daniel, local to Raleigh, NC. He typically works in acrylics on canvas, focusing on smaller projects with nature themes.
All the crochet items are handmade by Karen Daniel, living in Raleigh, NC.
Professional quality acrylic paints, almost always on stretched canvas. Prints are reproductions of the original artwork using Giclee print techniques on archival quality paper.

Digital theft of images is a real problem. We display a watermark logo and text on the images to keep anyone from downloading the images of paintings and using them to illegally create teeshirts or to make copies and print. They are only an online watermark though and the actual paintings on canvas, prints, teeshirts, crochet items and other items for sale do not bear the watermark image.
No. We may offer a framing option in the future, but currently believe you are the best one to decide the appropriate frame for where you want to display the painting or print.
We offer prints on two different papers. One is archival mat finish, and one is on watercolor paper.
Studio Water Color Paper: (245 gsm, 17 mil)
This 245g, Bright White, textured water color fine art paper is made from poly cotton fiber highly durable and vibrant print surface. Acid free and lignen free.
Archival Matte Paper: (230 gsm, 9.5 mil)
Smooth, neutral-white, matte paper for high-quality fine art, photo reproduction, and open-edition decor. It supports accurate color reproduction and high-contrast, high-resolution output, and is acid-free for a longer print life with pigment inks.

HOW TO ORDER, PAYMENT METHODSPlacing an Order
Yes. We securely encrypt your information when you add it online. We use Stripe for payment processing during checkout. You can choose whether or not credit card information is stored in your account.
You may purchase items online at our shop using your credit card of choice. Although there are many merchant account providers available for online stores, Stripe is our preferred payment gateway. Stripe is a much more powerful alternative to Paypal, which takes you off the website when making a payment. It also offers secure interaction with its servers to keep your data safe. All in all, Stripe makes everything secure, safe and easy! A Stripe account is not required.

The customer’s commitment is to make a fair and timely payment for purchases. If a return is needed, the item must be returned in its original condition. If the item is damaged in any way, no refund will be made.

For original art or handmade crochet items, the shipping turnaround is usually 3 to 5 business days. Because of supply chain issues, shipping time for art prints is typically 7 to 14 business days. The longest lead time is currently for t-shirts, right now from 20 to 25 days, also due to supply chain issues.

Please contact us using the form providing. Please be aware that prints and t-shirts are shipped separately directly from the manufacturers. Original art, including miniatures, and all crochet items are shipped from North Carolina.

Whenever possible, we reuse and recycle the boxes and bubble wrap that came to us when our painting or crochet materials were delivered. We don’t always do this and sometimes have to use new materials, but we are a small craft sole proprietorship and we believe in recycling instead of throwing away.
