We had a good day at the Blackbird Brewery Art Pop-up yesterday. Karen Daniel sold out of her crochet octopi and gift baskets, many of my 2×2 small paintings and eggshell dioramas found new homes. The brewery owner quickly said she wanted my new blackbird painting and it is now on display at the brewery. I am really glad to be partnering with Karen on this – she’s great at talking with people who come by our booth. This was definitely a family oriented event with parents bringing their kids. Although the day started out cloudy and cold, the sun came out and it turned into a beautiful spring day.

The Blackbird Brewery is at 3608 Rogers Branch Rd in Wake Forest, NC and regularly hosts music and other events in their adjacent lot. We hope to return there for other pop-ups!
